You are alive this minute and then the next minute you maybe dead.
Last ight I received a call from one of my colleagues relating to me that a student of mine met with an accident in the afternoon and he passed away at the scene. He is much younger than I am. Logically the oldest will go off first, but death doesn't follow any specific logical sequence.
It struck me that the moment you leave the house, there is no guarantee that you will be coming back home. Its also a fact that there is no guarantee that you will be reaching your office because death can be instanteneous and unexpected.
May Allah have mercy on your soul Br. Noorazrim bin Ismail, and may Allah give me strength to always remember death.
